Recreating The Wing: An Introduction Letter

In the mind of a small boy, filled with dreams of crayons, clay, craft paper and string – sitting in class, anticipating the recess bell to ring on that Florida morning…

In a small conference room in downtown Philadelphia, the first meeting of a freshman company ready to launch their visionary product…

In the sparks and scrap metal that fall to the floor in an excited young inventor’s garage late at night somewhere in small town Illinois…

In the candle-smoke filled rooms of Colonial Virginia, pens dipped in inkwells, where waist-coated men whispered of freedom and a new nation…

“Outside of the Box”. This is a term that has become a longstanding idea in our culture. The concept has come to be a direction, an instruction, a hope and an inspiration. Do not rely on convention or what you have always known; but rather strive for something new, something exciting, something unexpected and something that will spark a movement. Think “outside of the box”. Take what has been done before you and turn it over until you discover a new approach that no one has yet tried – but everyone has been looking for; as the Wright brothers did when they saw birds soaring in the air and used the hands of man to recreate what nature had conceived, so that we could reach farther than our mortal bodies would have ever allowed. The mind surpassing physical restrictions. Creativity becoming reality.

This is how I live my life and what I bring to my work. My education, professional experience, entrepreneurial spirit and marketing/branding skills – both in my work and my personal life – have all been stepping stones to refining and honing a dynamic and creative approach that I bring to all that I do and offer. Drawing from a varied and rich background of advertising, marketing, branding, presentation and artistic display – I can bring a new approach and fresh resources to those I work with and manage, as well as to the client or company that seeks to breathe new life into their products or services.

I have always striven to be an asset to any organization or endeavor that I work to nurture. I will continue that with everything I do moving forward. I am always excited for new opportunities and am committed to bringing much to the table. My crayons, construction paper, welding torch, quill, or whatever tool may be needed, is ready and waiting to bring goals, ideas, and conceptions to reality. Perhaps it can be for you. I invite you to think outside the box….
